About this frame

Geometric eyeglasses: the l.a.Eyeworks Sampan in Red Caps, sized 53–20–137. That is about 126mm across the front, and the 53mm eye puts it among our wide frames. A 53mm lens is large, and the 20mm bridge is what holds the overall width down. An optician adjusts acetate with warmth, so the Sampan can be set to sit straight on your face. Progressive wearers should ask us for the lens height of the Sampan first, as it is not listed yet.

Frame only: prescription lenses are not included.

Shipping and returns

Shipping. Free on every order within the United States, fully insured, and signed for on delivery. Frames leave the shop within 1–2 business days, packed by hand in their case. Standard delivery takes 2–5 business days; Express is available at checkout. We ship within the US only, and cannot deliver to P.O. boxes.

Returns. Request a return within 7 days of delivery. Frames must come back unworn, with their case and packaging; refunds are made less a 15% restocking fee, and return shipping is paid by the customer. Discounted frames and frames marked final sale cannot be returned or refunded.

Damaged or not as described? Tell us within 7 days of delivery and we will put it right, with no restocking fee.
