About this frame

Cat-eye eyeglasses from LAPIMA: the Tessa Petit in Black, sized 47–21–145, which is a 47mm eye, a 21mm bridge and 145mm temples. The Tessa Petit comes to about 115mm across the front (47 + 47 + 21), on the narrow side. The frame is black acetate; an optician warms it to adjust the fit, and it keeps the new shape once cool. For progressives, the 35mm lens depth is enough for most designs; the optician checks it against your fitting height.

How the numbers work

Eye is the width of one lens, bridge is the gap between them, and temple is the length of the arm — all in millimetres. Your own frames carry the same three numbers, usually printed inside the left arm.

Shipping and returns

Shipping. Free on every order within the United States, fully insured, and signed for on delivery. Frames leave the shop within 1–2 business days, packed by hand in their case. Standard delivery takes 2–5 business days; Express is available at checkout. We ship within the US only, and cannot deliver to P.O. boxes.

Returns. Request a return within 7 days of delivery. Frames must come back unworn, with their case and packaging; refunds are made less a 15% restocking fee, and return shipping is paid by the customer. Discounted frames and frames marked final sale cannot be returned or refunded.
