About this frame

In Matte Dark Blue, the ProDesign Denmark Recess 2 is a pair of rectangular eyeglasses marked 53–16–140, for a 53mm lens, a 16mm bridge and 140mm temples. Lenses and bridge together come to about 122mm across the front, though with a 53mm eye it is listed with our wide frames. Titanium keeps the Recess 2 light and rust-free, and an optician can still bend it to fit. Before choosing the Recess 2 for progressives, ask us for its lens depth, which is not on file yet.

Frame only: prescription lenses are not included.

How the numbers work

Eye is the width of one lens, bridge is the gap between them, and temple is the length of the arm — all in millimetres. Your own frames carry the same three numbers, usually printed inside the left arm.

Returns. Request a return within 7 days of delivery. Frames must come back unworn, with their case and packaging; refunds are made less a 15% restocking fee, and return shipping is paid by the customer. Discounted frames and frames marked final sale cannot be returned or refunded.
