About Bevel

Bevel was founded in 1999 by Richard Mewha and Rick Nelson, who worked together at the Optical Shop of Aspen before starting their own label. They came to design from the fitting side of the counter rather than from design school.

The collection is made in Fukui, the center of Japanese eyewear production, in premium acetate and beta-titanium. The look is classic and minimal, with the attention on proportion and color rather than logos.
