About Etnia Barcelona

Etnia Barcelona was founded in 2001 by David Pellicer and remains family-owned, building on three generations of the family’s work in optics. It arrived when most frames came in black or brown, and made color its starting point.

The brand designs around natural acetate from the Italian maker Mazzucchelli, chosen for its stability and depth of color, and turns out a large collection built on it.
