About LINDBERG

LINDBERG was founded in Aarhus, Denmark, in 1983 by optician Poul-Jørn Lindberg and Hanne Lindberg. Frustrated by frames whose screws always worked loose, Poul-Jørn set out to build one that needed none.

In 1986, working with the architects Dissing + Weitling, he developed a frame of titanium wire held by a screwless spiral hinge. That idea still defines the brand, which has won more than a hundred international design awards.
